With the commencement of 2026, and in light of the recent tragic incidents at Bondi, NSW, and other locations both nationally and internationally, it is timely for all members and guests of Karuah & District RSL Club to reflect on what makes our Club a welcoming, inclusive and thriving community hub.
Our Club is committed to being a family-friendly and ethical organisation. We strive to ensure that every member, visitor and employee is treated with respect, courtesy and sensitivity at all times. We respect the diverse opinions of our members and value the rich diversity of our membership and the broader Karuah community.
We recognise that the Club must always remain a safe and supportive environment for all who enter. The Club, its management, employees, members and visitors share a responsibility to uphold this standard.
Any behaviour that is antisocial, unruly, aggressive, unsafe, sexist or otherwise disrespectful — and which is prejudicial to the interests of the Club or unbecoming of a member — will not be tolerated. Appropriate action will be taken where necessary to protect the wellbeing and integrity of our community.
Together, we can ensure our Club continues to be a place of connection, respect and belonging for everyone.
Regards,
President
