Minister Kate Washington Visits Karuah RSL Club

A Warm Welcome to Minister Kate Washington MP

It was a real pleasure to welcome Minister Kate Washington MP to Karuah RSL Club last Thursday. Visits like this give us the opportunity to showcase what makes Karuah such a special community and to highlight the important role local clubs play across the region.

During her visit, Kate took the time to hear about the work Karuah RSL does in supporting veterans, sporting groups, community organisations and local events. It’s always encouraging when elected representatives take a genuine interest in the people and projects that make a community tick.

Supporting Veterans and the Karuah Community

Kate’s visit included both the RSL Club and the Bowling Club, and we appreciated her genuine engagement with our members, volunteers and the incredible work being done throughout the area. The dedication of our volunteers and the breadth of community support provided through our clubs is something we’re proud to share with anyone who walks through our doors.

Karuah RSL has long been a hub for community connection, and conversations with local and state representatives help ensure that the unique needs of regional clubs and their communities are heard. We look forward to continuing to work together to ensure Karuah remains a great place to live, work and visit.
