A Message from Vice President Elaine Wilson

On behalf of Karuah RSL, Vice President Elaine Wilson has shared a heartfelt message of thanks to everyone who contributed to our Australia Day fundraising efforts for the Rural Fire Service. The generosity of our loyal members and the people of Karuah and surrounding areas has made a real difference to our local brigades.

Supporting Our Local Fire Brigades

Thanks to your donations on Australia Day, we raised funds that will be divided equally between three local RFS brigades – Karuah, Limeburners Creek, and North Arm Cove. Each brigade will receive $2,000 to support their vital work protecting our community. These funds will help our volunteer firefighters continue their essential service to the region.

The Rural Fire Service plays a crucial role in keeping our community safe, and it’s wonderful to see locals coming together to support these dedicated volunteers. Your contributions on Australia Day demonstrate the strong community spirit that makes Karuah such a special place.

A big thankyou goes to our wonderful staff who worked tirelessly throughout Australia Day to make the fundraising effort a success. Their dedication and hard work ensured everything ran smoothly on the day.

Special recognition also goes to Noel, who volunteered for bus duties on the day. His contribution was greatly appreciated and helped make the event accessible for everyone wanting to participate.
