Join us starting this Wednesday, November 6th, at Karauh RSL for Wrap with Love – a knitting, crochet, and craft group dedicated to spreading warmth and comfort through handmade wraps for those in need. Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or a beginner, you’re invited to join in on the fun and contribute to a great cause!
There are countless individuals around the world facing harsh cold conditions. Wrap with Love was founded in 1992 with a mission to provide warm wraps to help prevent hypothermia. Over the last 23 years, they have distributed over 400,000 wraps to people in need across 75 countries, including Australia, thanks to the dedication of hardworking volunteers.
Feel free to bring your own craft projects and join in the knitting and crocheting sessions. Donations of 8-ply wool and squares are always appreciated and can make a real difference. The group meets every Wednesday from 10am to 12pm in the function room. For further details, you can reach out to Jenny Semple at 0448 880 509.
Come have a chat, make new friends, and contribute to a meaningful cause! Let’s spread warmth and love one wrap at a time. See you at the upcoming session!
