Renovation Update from the President of Karuah RSL

A Message from President Samantha Brock

Karuah and District RSL Club is moving forward with its exciting renovation plans, and President Samantha Brock has shared an important update with members about the progress made so far.

Earlier this year, the club held Consultation sessions inviting members to have their say on the proposed renovations. The Board wishes to thank all those who attended and took the time to provide feedback and suggestions.

How Member Feedback Shaped the Plans

Member input has played a meaningful role in shaping the renovation concept. The Board carefully considered all suggestions in conjunction with their construction consultants, leading to amendments to the original concept proposals.

Following those revisions, the club recently released a Request for Tender to the club construction industry, seeking competitive tenders to Design and Construct the proposed renovations. Those tenders will close shortly and will then be evaluated to identify the best value for money proposal.

What’s Next – Contract Award and Construction Timeline

The club anticipates awarding a contract to the successful tenderer over the Christmas period, with construction expected to commence in early 2027. Members can look forward to further updates on progress as the project moves ahead.

President Samantha Brock expressed her gratitude to the membership for their ongoing support and engagement throughout this process, and looks forward to keeping everyone informed as the renovation journey continues.
